FM contributes to educational innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation, generating impact at multiple levels:
Local & Regional Impact
FM strengthens local educational institutions by providing high-quality, accessible training. The project actively engages communities through its training schools and multiplier events, fostering dialogue between students, educators, policymakers, and industry professionals. Special attention is given to disadvantaged groups, such as minorities, university dropouts and individuals in rural or island regions, ensuring inclusivity.
National Impact
FM aligns with national strategies for digital transformation and sustainability in education, supporting national policies that promote green skills and digital upskilling. By developing industry-aligned curricula, FM contributes to reducing the skills gap in sustainable transport and tourism, two of the main sectors driving the Greek economy, while also important for Italy, Belgium and Sweden.
European Impact
FM supports EU priorities in climate action, digital transformation, and education. By equipping students with sustainability and digital competencies, the project contributes to the European Green Deal and the Digital Education Action Plan. The integration of MOOCs on global platforms ensures accessibility across Europe, fostering cross-border learning. Transnational cooperation through CoPs strengthens knowledge exchange and best practices among European universities and industry stakeholders.
Long-Term Scalability
FM's methodologies can be adapted for other disciplines, ensuring long-term impact beyond transport and tourism. The use of CRISPA facilitates scenario-based learning, preparing students to analyze policy impacts. The established networks will support future collaborations, reinforcing Europe's position as a leader in innovative education.
